MEET DR. KELLY HARVEY

She lives aviation.

She understands the stakes.

In her military aviation career, Dr. Harvey was known by her call sign, “Xena.” It’s the name the aviators she served alongside still use today.

Your medical certificate is more than paperwork. It represents your livelihood, your passion, and your ability to continue doing what you love.

Dr. Harvey served as an Air Force Flight Surgeon assigned to operational bomber and fighter squadrons, later becoming Chief of Flight Medicine in the Air National Guard.

Her aviation experience includes flying in high-performance aircraft, bombers, transport aircraft, and aerial refueling tankers, as well as completing training in multiple aspects of military aviation. Married to an airline captain and the mother of an airline first officer, she understands how deeply an aviation career affects the entire family.

A PERSONAL COMMITMENT FROM XENA

“As a flight surgeon, I always thought of the aviators assigned to me as my pilots. I still think of them that way today. I took that responsibility personally, and I still do. When you come to me for an FAA medical examination, you're not simply another appointment on my schedule.

I recognize that you're entrusting me with something very important: your career and your ability to continue doing what you love. I'm humbled by that trust, and I will always strive to honor it.

I want you to know that our relationship doesn't end when your examination is over. I'll be here to answer questions, address concerns, and help you navigate the FAA medical certification process whenever you need help.”

FROM THE FLIGHT LINE

“I trusted her with my health
and my flying career.”

E.S. USAF (ret) A330 First Officer
